Continuous Level Sensors

You’ll find a number of continuous level sensors on our website that you can depend on. Continuous level sensors help gauge the precise amount of a liquid in your tank. They are incredibly useful when you need to regulate the exact liquid amount in your tank and no calibration is ever needed. Our continuous level sensors will help provide a constant analog output to your meter so you know the current level of your liquid.

Providing you with both accurate and reliable information, our continuous level sensors are sure to exceed your expectations of what a sensor can do. Available in either 4-20 mA or 0-5VDC outputs, our continuous level sensors provide dependable feedback you can count on. Our horizontal and vertical mount options are perfect for monitoring liquids in challenging applications.

You can enhance the capabilities of your continuous level sensor by adding on one or two supplemental features. Adding an alarm switch point to your sensor not only improves the accuracy and reliability of your sensor, but it also provides an independent back-up signal. You can also add a temperature sensor which consistently monitors and reads the temperature of the liquid you’re working with. One or both of these options can be integrated with your continuous level sensors to create a customized unit that works for you.

Water Level Sensors

Our reliable water level sensors are perfect for storage tanks, water tanks, transport tanks and more. Our accurate and dependable sensors help detect the water level in a variety of situations. When you need to reliably manage or monitor your water level, our standard or custom-made water level sensors are right for you!

Our continuous output level sensors help measure the exact amount of a liquid within your tank. Our water level sensors can measure both the liquid’s level and the liquid’s temperature. With temperature sensing built inside, our water level sensors are essentially two different sensors incorporated into one unit. The sensor’s signal will provide crucial and precise information about the liquid’s temperature and level. They also can be used to provide signals to custom control circuits, signal an alarm and more.

Fuel Level Sensors

Our durable fuel level sensors are intentionally designed to help you get the job done. The high-quality fuel level we manufacture are created with reliable buna floats or stainless steel floats that slide onto a stem made from brass or stainless steel. When the float moves over the switch, a built-in magnetic field turns on the internal switch.

The sensors we design can be found in gasoline tanks, diesel fuel tanks and other tanks measuring a number of different liquids. Our affordable stainless steel option is perfect for biodiesel fuels and DEF applications. The fuel level sensors we offer are typically used for high level signals to alert when the fuel tank is full, pump on, pump off signals and low level alarm signals.

At Rochester Sensors, we design our fuel level sensors to withstand several hundred million cycles. Our sensors are commonly mounted at the top of the tank or the side of your tank. There are many options available, including mating electrical connectors, cam and groove mounting fittings for quick and easy access to the sensor and temperature monitoring. For outdoor applications, Nema 4X rated housings are a common option.

As with all of our sensor options, if you do not see what you’re looking for, please contact us. We can build customized fuel level sensors to meet your exact requirements and specifications.

Liquid Level Sensors

Our high-quality liquid level sensors are equipped with temperature sensing capabilities for a more reliable and efficient read. Standard temperature sensing options include thermocouples, RTDs, temperature switches, thermistors and more. Oftentimes, combining liquid level and temperature products reduce installation costs and help improve cost savings.

When it comes to liquid level sensors, we have a variety of different sizes, mounting options and materials to choose from. No matter what liquid you’re working with or no matter how tough the project is ahead, our standard and customized sensors will help you get the job done.

We offer three styles of liquid level sensors with built-in temperature sensors. Our stainless steel option is ideal for the most demanding situations. This sensor can handle temperatures exceeding 300F and pressures up to 750 PSI. Another liquid level sensor option we provide is created from a combination of brass and buna material which is commonly used in fuel and oil level sensing. We offer many design combinations that allow our sensors to solve challenging liquid level sensing applications.

Temperature Sensors

We offer a wide selection of temperature sensors to help meet the important needs of your business. Our versatile temperature sensors offer the option to include liquid level sensing capabilities to help provide multiple sensing in one sensor. Check out our liquid level sensors page to see the three different options that we have available.

At Rochester Sensors, we are happy to create and design customized temperature sensors to meet the demands of your business. The success of your business matters to us, and we’ll do everything we can to help you achieve your goals and dreams. If you are looking for sensors and units not currently on our website, please contact us and let us know how we can help.

Leak Detection Sensors

Our leak detection sensors will give you the peace of mind that there is no compromise in your containment system. Our products can be designed to sit in even the tiniest of crevices and crannies – especially our custom-designed units! Saving you both time and money, our leak detection sensors are suitable for oils, water, petroleum and high contaminated solutions. Suspend our reliable leak detection units down into pipes, wells, sumps and and other challenging areas to monitor liquid and detect leaks.

You can customize your leak detection sensors order by adding shielding to help reduce the effects of turbulence. The customization opportunities are almost endless with personalized options for lead lengths, weighted collars and more.

Here at Rochester Sensors, we are very proud of our high-quality work, and we are more than happy to help bring your ideas to life. We have an assortment of standard and customized products available to help support your business.

If you have a customized unit in mind that you don’t see on our website, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-852-9984 or contact us via our website portal. We look forward to hearing from you!
